A collaboration from Let's Connex's pilot: the first case study whose results our own platform tracked.
The situation
Senso Café & Bites, also known as Roses Café Senso, is a Persian-style café and brunch spot on Yonge Street in Richmond Hill: authentic Persian and Mediterranean breakfast, saffron and pistachio ice cream, signature falooda, specialty coffee, a patio, and a drive-through. A loved local spot with an active, appealing online presence, and posts that typically earned around three thousand organic views from the community that already knew it.
The café's goal was growth: reaching new demographics beyond its core community. And it treated that goal as an operational commitment, adjusting its staff so that new guests would be hosted well from their first visit.
The collaboration
Senso partnered with Alk Hussein, known online as Father Alk: a Canadian comedy creator whose food and family content has built a large national audience across TikTok and Instagram.
Two things about the collaboration were deliberate. The content sat naturally inside what his audience already watches, and the timing was chosen with intent: the video went out during Ramadan, when food content meets audiences gathered around iftar and late-night meals.
The result
This collaboration ran through Let's Connex during our pilot: the primary video was tracked by the platform itself, reaching 274,100 views on TikTok, and sharing across Instagram and beyond carried the collaboration past 350,000 views across platforms. Against a typical organic baseline of around three thousand views per post, that is an expansion of more than a hundredfold. What mattered as much was what the café did with the attention.
The audience that came looking found Senso ready: active channels worth following, a menu worth the trip, and a team prepared to host them.
What made it work
A ready presence receives attention. An influencer's video sends a wave of curious people to a business's own pages, and Senso's were ready to receive it: active, appealing, and a true reflection of the café. The attention had somewhere to land.
Timing multiplies content. The same content on a different week is a different result. Launching during Ramadan put the content in front of its audience at the moment they cared most: when a collaboration goes out belongs in the plan, not to chance.
Growth is an operational commitment. Senso did not only buy reach: it changed its staffing to host the new audience it expected. We now believe influencer marketing works best when the whole business is behind the growth it is asking for.
Where this went
Collaborations like this are part of why Let's Connex works the way it does: FitCheck scoring on request before anyone is accepted, each Experience's terms stated before creators apply, and views tracked and reviewed before they settle. If you run a local business, start your first Experience. For the full method, read the restaurant playbook or the complete local guide.
